How long do I have to make an appeal?
For a fixed penalty notice : you have 45 days from the date on the notice to appeal.
For a fixed penalty notice issued following an automated enforcement check (speed cameras) : you have 90 days (3 months) from the date the notice was sent.
For a fixed penalty notice issued following an electronic report (PVe) : you have 30 days (1 month) from the date the notice was sent.
For notices sent abroad, these time limits are extended by one month.
