How can I request the photograph of an offence recorded by a traffic enforcement camera?
You can request an “enforcement camera photograph” (but only if an offence has been recorded by a camera) in one of two ways:
Online, via the website of the French Ministry of the Interior: request an automated traffic enforcement photograph.
By writing to the following address: Centre Automatisé de Constatation des Infractions Routières (CACIR) - Service Photographies - CS 41101 - 35911 Rennes CEDEX 9
In both cases, you will need to provide copies of the following documents:
your ID
your vehicle registration certificate, and
your fixed penalty notice (front side only).
