How do you appeal against a post-parking fee?
To appeal a post-parking fee, you must file a "Compulsory prior administrative appeal" within one month of the date on the notice, and send a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the address on the notice.You
must include the following documents with your appeal, depending on your situation:
A copy of the payment notice you are appealing against;
A copy of the vehicle's registration certificate;
A statement of the facts and any supporting evidence for your appeal. This could include: a copy of your 'pay and display' ticket, season ticket, or complaint; copy of vehicle transfer and acknowledgement of registration in the French National Agency for Secure Identity Documents' SIV vehicle registration system, etc.
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt, after which your appeal will be examined within the following month.
If your appeal is accepted, the payment notice will be cancelled or amended. You will receive a corrective payment notice for €0 and you will not need to take any further action.
If you receive an amended payment noticefollowing your compulsory prior administrative appeal and you accept the decision, you will receive the amended post-parking fee, and you must follow the payment instructions on page 3 of the notice.
